- All that matters is that the music is gentle and quiet, and that you sing in a soothing voice.

- Even though the lyrics are about your baby having a (possibly fatal) fall, your baby doesn’t care because your baby can’t understand the words.

- You need to pick lyrics that you won’t be uncomfortable singing to your children as they get older.
